Carlos Casillas Ahmann

In this position, I am in charge of the modernization of the central services at Grupo Salinas. Among my responsibilities are the implementation of new systems, managing change and process engineering.

In this position I am in charge of managing the staff of Corporate Real Estate for Grupo Salinas, with over 32 hundred properties across the Americas. I am also in charge of driving innovation and implementing a technological change in real estate development and property management.

As Innovation Project Manager I was in charge of product design and development for the construction, real estate and facility management industries, based on the company's technology. I worked closely with partners and customers to understand the industries' needs and develop compelling products and applications. I led diverse teams to take products from the technological development to the market entry.

In charge of providing advice to the VP on a wide range of issues associated to internal and external projects, as well as taking the responsibility over the well functioning of the division. • Manage communication to and with other companies, government and NGOs. • Responsible of handling the relation with the Aspen Institute. • Apply project management tools and cost control to make corporate wide projects successful. • Manage divisions day-to-day operations, including budget and personnel.

The key tasks I had to develop in this position were: -Developing the annual plan of activities in coordination with the Director. -Creating and implementing agendas for international events. -Leading PR projects in Mexico and the U.S., as well as managing international delegation visits to Mexico, and the U.S. -Assisting the Director of PR in the U.S. for Grupo Salinas in managing relations with: *Government officials *Think tanks *NGO's

In this capacity, I was part of the investor relations team in charge of both listed companies of Grupo Salinas (Grupo Elektra, S.A.B. de C.V. and TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V.). Some of my key responsibilities were: -gathering and managing financial information from internal sources -elaborating notes on the financial results for the C-level officials of the company -managing reporting systems for the Mexican Stock Exchange, Mexican Securitites and Exchange Commission and Spanish Latibex

My two areas of focus during the EMBA were operations and supply change management, as well as innovation and product development.

I spent nine semesters at ITAM. During my time there, I focused my studies on strategic management.
