Through the development of an automated application, I quickened the processing of monitoring data within our company's ticketing framework, Matrix 42 (Enterprise Management System). This innovative solution resulted in an impressive 20x speed improvement. By leveraging the power of Matrix42 and utilizing SQL queries, we can now complete this task in a matter of minutes instead of hours. Lastly, my collaboration with colleagues ensured that the generated tickets align with the department's requirements.

I played a direct role enhancing our infrastructure management by writing Ansible code for over 50 internal Control servers. This code automated crucial tasks, including adding user, installing Linux package, and the creation of network configuration files using Jinja2 templates. Through collaborative efforts utilizing Git, GitLab, and SVN, we established streamlined processes for internal developer version control and external control. I fetched user data from ServiceNow using the Python API (pysnow).

As a Senior System Administrator at YOC Berlin, I successfully managed the setup and update of various systems and machines for YOC associates. My primary responsibility involved configuring VMs for our developers and automating service deployments using Ansible across on-premises and cloud environments (VMware based). I also effectively resolved issues related to Nginx, PHP, Ansible, and Linux (Debian 9) through troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise.

As the primary escalation point for Linux on Azure and Microsoft, our team provided comprehensive support for a wide range of Linux distributions, including RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE, BSD, Oracle Linux, and more. We successfully resolved diverse client and performance issues, collaborating closely with Linux vendors such as Redhat and Canonical. Our deep understanding of the Azure platform's Linux infrastructure made us the go-to support for Linux-related matters on Azure.

Initially, The focus was on administering Netbackup clusters, which served as a valuable learning experience at Amazon. Working in a large company like Amazon exposed me to their unique operational methods (Agile, Scrum). Towards the end of my contract, I expanded my responsibilities to include tasks such as updating configuration generator scripts in bash, working with AWS SQL, and gaining a better understanding of AWS infrastructure.

Transitioning from managing 8,517 servers to a more focused set of a few hundred High performance server clusters (HPC) in my new position was a transformative experience. These servers required meticulous attention and I actively collaborated with cluster owners and their teams, addressing their requests through various communication channels. Drawing from my time at Intel, I seamlessly adapted to the new environment and eagerly embraced additional responsibilities.

With over seven years of computer expertise at Intel, I have acquired a diverse skill set of software, operating systems, and hardware types, including Windows, Linux, Dell, HP servers, and more. I successfully managed Intel's resident fault labs (LabCSI), even taking on the responsibilities of two people for three months with minimal notice. I supported the decommissioning of Intel's local data center, which housed a substantial number of ProLiant and IBM BladeCenter servers totaling 8,157 units.
