35+ years experience in Software Engineering. In my last job I worked in various areas of Digital TV, from development for Conditional Access, MW DVB SI & ABR components to automated test tools. The latter underpinned all company deliveries for our MW, in both satellite & IPTV domains, and was closely integrated into our CI/CD pipeline. For the last 10 years we used Agile/Scrum methodology. In my previous job I was both an independent contributor, team member, team lead & project lead, delivering components & fully integrated systems in areas from Smart Cards for Health & Conditional Access for Digital TV Satellite platforms, as well as fully integrated Satellite Set Top Boxes software stacks. I am currently between jobs, recovering from a shoulder operation in May 2024, and I am looking to start a new role from August 2024. Working from home 100% preferred. EU citizen, so no visa required for working in Germany or other EU countries.
