Returning to FetchTv in a consulting capacity to create an enterprise library to integrate overseas mobile applications into the FetchTv middleware and infrastructure. Using the same team I setup one year previously, I lead a small team of skilled developers in the creation of a high level api to aid the integration of offshore media corporation apps into the Fetch system.

Achievements include implementing SCRUM as a Team Lead and then aiding related teams to adopt. Positive outcomes that almost immediately manifested themselves included actual fortnightly releases (and stable ones), easier interteam communication, better transparency for stakeholders and less need for overtime, happier even-paced work environment.

Dealt with the politics of a large company and altered a custom built system so that it would scale. I enjoyed the mobile application development aspect of this role as well as some of the service layer challenges involved in scaling the applications. Interacting closely with third party products and end users also gave me a great incite into client relationship management.

Custom SCADA tracking systems for Bisalloy Steel works combined both technical development and working closely with the client to achieve an efficient and reliable product. Also built diagnostic applications for Class 3 Building Security Systems.
