• SPOC for Barclays Capital Exadata Systems and Trading platform. • Develop an Oracle Exadata Backup script running 10 times faster. • Develop restore script, which reduced times from 5 days to 10 hours for 19 TB Database. • Design and Build HA system for Fast Payments. • Develop Masking script to work seamless with Production and non-production. Saved several million GBP in licensing and being fully compliant. • Define Database standard for security, performance and high availability.

• Team Leader of 18 DBAs located worldwide (Europe, Asia and Americas) providing 24*7 support. • Develop 24*7 monitoring and alerting scripts using Nagios, KSH and OEM SNMP Traps. • Design and build HA environment with Oracle RAC, GoldenGate, Standby and Materialize Views (MV) for MultiTB databases and almost zero downtime.

• Develop Global Automatic Capacity Planning report for all Oracle Database using OEM for forecasting new needs in CPU and Storage for databases. • Work with Engineering Team to package Oracle installations (Agent, RDBMS, RAC and Grid Control). • SPOC for Oracle 11g certification and best Practices within the bank.

• Design and build High Available architecture using Streams for replication to a new reporting systems; Oracle RAC and Oracle dataguard for Disaster Recovery. • Design, configure, document and test almost zero downtime Patch deployment for all Oracle Systems. • Oracle Applications DBA supporting a major Oracle Financials Database.

• Design and implement strategy to migrate Oracle database from 8.0 and 8i to 9i with minimum downtime and performance degradation. • Global SPOC for Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance and Change Management. • Oracle Applications DBA supporting major Oracle Financials database based in the US. Migrated from 10.7 to 11i. • Business Objects supervisor, Designer and Developer. Migrated all business reports to Business Objects.

Automate the process to create new partitions and archive old partitions for performance and archiving strategy. • Design and build a reporting environment based on Materialized Views replication with minimum delay using information from Oracle, SqlServer and Sybase systems.
