Setup and management of the startup activity New Business Electronic Materials within Clariant New Business Development. Setup of a dedicated team through internal and external hire, creation of R&D and Application Technology & Sales facilities in Germany and Taiwan. Full P&L responsibility for Clariant Electronic Materials and direct reporting to EC Sponsor.

Responsible for the Management and Portfolio development of two Product lines. Responsible for sales and margin development for the product lines. Direct managing of Business support staff in Basel, Technical support Staff in Taiwan/China and indirect management of Sales Teams for Electronic Materials globally. Member of the BU Leadership team defining the BU Strategy and supporting the Corporate Strategy process.

Project Management for the development and market introduction of new Products. Account management for strategic key customers and prospects. Introduction and support of the new Technical Manager Asia and Asia Sales Manager to customers and prospects.

Assignment to establish and manage a Technical Centre for the application of specialty polymer materials for the Printed Circuit Board manufacturing. Training of Technical Service Engineers for Asia. Manage strategic key accounts and prospects in Asia. Support of the Head of Business Development with the newly established Product Creation Process and the establishment of an EM Asia Team.

Customer service engineer Application Technology for special lacquers for the electronic industry. Key contact and support engineer mainly for Asian customers.
