Isn't it wonderful how modern technology has shaped the way in which we communicate? We can now in a couple of minutes do for our clients what used to take several weeks. Efficiency has been thriving so that customers' problems can be immediately solved by means of one phone call, perhaps even during the client's coffee break. This requires successful communication. Since, as professional communicators, we are responsible for the successful communication, we have to constantly check if our messages have gone through to our clients and request their feedback. Also, our knowledge has to be continuously actualized. Never before has the art of communication been so challenging and so rewarding. The work place at the beginning of the 3rd millennium is really fascinating.
