P&L responsibility while leading in a matrix environment to optimize the entire value stream in the eyes of the customer.

Responsible for providing multi-site direction and leadership for Supply Chain Management for the Electronics Group. Annual procurement spend in excess of $75 M. Established break-through objectives.

Responsible for providing direction and leadership for Supply Chain Management. Annual procurement spend in excess of $150 M. Created Strategic Sourcing group with total accountability for overall Supplier Performance on quality, cost, and delivery. Formalized the Supplier Quality Management processes and acted as System/Process Owner for new Lean Quality System implementation.

Directed activities for all functional areas within Engineering, Operations, and Information Systems including Software & Hardware Development, Manufacturing, Offshore Manufacturing, Depot Repair, Purchasing and Material Control including Vendor Relations, Management of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Information Systems, and Corporate Program.

Successfully led one of the most complex projects in Intermec history (SAP ERP). Full cycle Program Director from business case development and presentation to post implementation support and preparation for follow-on enhancement projects. Organized project plans and recruited internal resources. Chairman for Executive Steering Committee. Scope of responsibility included both the business process and technical portions of the implementation.

Responsible for providing direction and leadership in the management of Intermec’s Purchasing, Master Scheduling, Production Planning and Distribution. Company more than doubled in size to $900 million because of acquiring 3 companies. Annual procurement spend in excess of $300 million.
