Various activities within the Indonesian shoe and textile trade industry including: • Sole national representative for Cintex needle detection machines, providing sales and service to local shoe and garment manufacturers supplying major brands such as adidas, Nike and GAP. • Sole national representative for Rudholm accessories. Helped bring a new brand to market in Indonesia, providing accessories to garment manufacturers for brands including Marks & Spencer. • Various account management consultancy roles

Regional role for this Hong Kong based trading company • Oversaw a business unit with operations in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. • Handled client and supplier relations, and managed merchandising teams handling several UK based clients including Tesco. Hired to set-up and manage a new division of this US held children’s woven garment manufacturer with the following responsibilities: • Produced and costed samples of all new styles for several key brands including JCPenney • Sourced, contracted and oversaw new suppliers in China and Bangladesh, to act as alternative source of supply to own factory • Set-up and managed CAD (Lectra) system to replace previous manual operations for fabric consumption/costings, and offer marker production for both domestic and

Transferred to Hong Kong to oversee Asian production of various garments for this major supplier to Marks & Spencer. • Oversaw all Asian production, across China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand and South Korea. Various products from outerwear to knits. • Co-ordinated buying trips by colleagues visiting Asia • Sourced new factories for garments as well as accessories

Started out purchasing accessories for domestic production. Migrated to buying accessories for newly developed import division.
