As part of the Engine Management Systems team, I am working on the advanced development and testing of new engine control logic for Isuzu Diesel Engines. The day to day tasks involve testing of new control logic on engine test bench (Model-based control engine), data analysis and calibration (mostly exhaust emission reduction evaluation and engine performance). Prior to this function in the EMS team, I worked within the OBD (on-board diagnostics) team for 6 months to develop an engine simulator.

I joined the product development team to develop an injector-pump for an SCR (selective catalytic reduction) system that Delphi wished to commercialize. I worked as a test engineer on engine test bench. My main tasks were to develop test programs on engine to validate the product (NOx reduction over FTP75 test cycle, hot/cold test, urea overdosing detection, urea injection/pump failure detection).

Joined the simulation team as a CFD (computational fluid dynamics) Engineer. I worked on fluid simulation for injectors, mainly nozzle design analysis.

As part of my placement for my Bachelor, I worked within the CAE team (Computer Aided Engineering). I was a support for Senior Engineers and work in different application of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) simulation such as NVH (noise vibration and harshness), body-in-white structural analysis and crash simulation.
