Architectural Lighting Design

Als Lichtdesigner mit architektonischem Fokus entwickle ich Beleuchtungslösungen für architektonische Umgebungen, die funktional und ästhetisch ansprechend sind, und das auf energieeffiziente Weise. Ich arbeite eng mit Architekten, Innenarchitekten, Ausstellungsplaner, Elektroplanern und Kunden zusammen, um Innen- und Außenprojekte wie Büros, öffentliche und private Gebäude, städtische Umgebungen, Ausstellungen und Museen zu unterstützen und sicherzustellen, dass die Beleuchtung angemessen ist.

I have been helping my client solving urban lighting projects, proposing energy efficient lighting solutions and evaluating with light calculations. Through night visualisations I also help them to develop lighting concepts for competitions and on-going projects.

Project leading, including airport lounge, office building, gastronomy and public building projects. My roles were to create energy efficient lighting concepts especially with LED lighting, provide options of lighting solutions to answer aesthetic, functional requirements to meet budgets, provide lighting control schemes to meet clients' requirements, develop special luminaires to suite individual projects, produce lighting drawings and plans including emergency lighting as well as full quotation.

I assisted senior lighting designers on congress center, churches and several urban lighting projects and led exterior lighting projects. My roles were to create lighting concepts, visualisations and urban nightscape plans, evaluation of lighting solutions using light calculations, lighting plans and principal details, developed luminaire solutions in cooperation with manufacturers, create presentations and basic cost estimation.
