Responsible for financial closing and external financial reporting (IFRS) of the Hilti Group (>120 entities), as well as project leader of various corporate finance and global process improvement projects, e.g. global fast close & perfect year start. Managing compliance of group reporting with IFRS involving ongoing liaison with group auditor on major new and changing IFRS topics, as well as ongoing working collaboration with senior management executives and Audit Committee members.

Responsible for corporate finance, accounting and tax related projects. Reporting to Group Executive Vice President Finance & Controlling.

Managed IFRS and Swiss GAAP audit engagements of stand-alone and consolidated financial statements of listed global accounts, as well as controls over financial reporting (SOX). Lead x-functional, multinational engagement teams with reporting to senior executives and audit committee members. Industry expertise: Construction, Automotive, Retail, and Manufacturing.

Participation in EY’s global exchange program in EY Toronto’s assurance practice serving large subsidiaries of Swiss based multinational groups, as well as North American based companies primarily in the construction and automotive industry (IFRS, US-GAAP and SOX).
