+ The aim of the practical works was mainly about to examines the efficiency of the new Quick Erect Stopping System (QESS) and attempts to show the following: i. How it can effectively reduce radon activity concentration at a relatively low production cost, ii. How easy it is—on a technical level—to install such a system, iii. How highly adaptable the system in different environments.

During these trials, I measured the radon activity concentration in separate locations to evaluate effect of quick erect stopping system on radon concentration measurements in order to get a clear idea of the impact of the newly developed stopping systems in mine air and ventilation system.

Examination of coal and coal ash methodically and in detail by using X-ray Fluorescence (XRF)

+Determination of coal and gas outburst prone coal seams by various methods. +Team Member in supporting coal core samples for the preparation of a feasibility report to identify the coal quality based on its geotechnical specifications and gas content with Istanbul Technical University Department of Mining Engineering

+Trained by senior engineer to design ventilation and development face +Get knowledge about underground copper mine operations and Occupational Health & Safety rules for Underground Mining Operation

+ Trained by production engineer to contribute the truck & shovel optimization and remodeled slope stability + Undertaken QA checks of the drill & blast operations and rock fragmentation + Responsible to observe the production process of surface dolomite mine (Stope, Development, Drill & Blast Design, Scheduling)

Get knowledge about underground lead-zinc mine operations. Get knowledge about Occupational Health&Safety rules for Underground Mining Operations Responsible to observe cut and fill production methods in lead and zinc underground mine ( Development, Drill & Blast Design, Haulage system, Support system, Water drainage system, Back-filling, Transportation, Ventilation design, and Waste management plan). Responsible to observe ore processing plant (crushing&grinding- screening-milling and flotation).
