I am a Java programmer.

This position is mainly responsible for the selling of Staple Technology products including Desktops, Laptops, GPS, Cameras, etc. There is also a responsibility to sell our "EZTech" Services such as PC Tune-ups, Virus Removals, Setup-up packages, etc. Outside of the selling aspect of the job which mainly gives you an opportunity to build a rapport with each customer, you also are responsible for the shipments of product making it onto the shelf.

I was responsible for around 120 PCs and 8 on-site and 4 off-site servers. The PCs ran windows while the servers were mostly Linux. I also had to regularly expand the Call Center by running cable and setting up work-stations from scratch. I wrote training material and ensured the consistent training of all users of the Call Center, around 1,000. I dealt directly with all of our vendors for parts and PC purchasing, also in set-up and maintenance of our unique satellite-based internet connection.

I was responsible for the trucks received and put out in my department as well as the Electronics Department. I was also handling a good deal of the Electronics Sales at the time, as my sales percentages were higher than all of the Electronics Associates. I took over a leadership role over my fellow office supply associates as I claimed responsibility for my whole department’s organization and improvement of time-of-completion for our tasks.
