My main responsibilities are the EHS, the efficiency and effectiveness of the team, the continuous improvement and detect the need for human resources, training and materials with the purpose of achieving the department's objectives, create, update and evaluate KPI to achieve the compliance of the preventive/predictive maintenance program, provide technical support to vibration and lubrication technicians, equipment start-up, monitoring of main equipment, intervention reports control, prepare procedures.

Implement and perform preventive and predictive maintenance for 12 facilities at DOW Iberica (Tarragona) by analyzing oil samples, vibrations and thermographic images with the purpose of anticipate failures, reduce maintenance cost, improve equipment reliability and be a focal point to the Department`s Technicians if necessary.

Perform basic and detailed engineering for electrical, mechanical and automation projects, establishment of safety standards, site management, preventive and predictive maintenance consulting and establishment of budgets.

The Reliability Engineer works to facilitate development of the business/facility maintenance strategy, and solves reliability/availability losses through application of reliability technology and tools to enable the plant to meet its business plan and strategy. This result is achieved by focusing on those opportunities that over a long-term period or historically has impacted the plant’s measured asset capability and the opportunities identified as "highrisk" in risk assessments, reliability models, etc.

The Maintenance Representative works to ensure the project team to delivers a plant to the business that will meet the business plan in the areas of reliability, availability and maintainability, by applying minimum cost of ownership principles from the project identification through to startup. The purpose of this role is to represent the maintenance function and local maintenance organization on project teams that are using global project methodology.

My main activities were Strategies Equipment, Performance Indicators of Maintenance, Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Tracking failures via E&Atool, Project Monitoring Improvement of Reliability, Monitoring consumption of spare parts, Optimization, Participation in Planning and Scheduling of turn arounds, Organization and Implementation of meetings.
