Manage 35 people in 4 teams (6 locations & 3 continents) to define, draw, document, and certify power plant, train, and marine exhaust systems with a strong focus on efficiency and profitability for an annual project turnover of 40M€ Responsibility over 3.1M€ budget for all teams. Working with other functions on continuous improvement of companywide processes to further improve efficiency Implement a competency matrix in my perimeter, including target per employee, training plan, and succession planning.

Leading and managing CO2 neutrality and sustainability topics, including CO2 reducing on engineering sites, CO2 footprint calculation for products and strategic appoarch for annual CO2 reduction to achieve Forvia's abitious CO2 neutrality target - net zero by 2045.

Global FCM lead of multiple production line simulation software. These simulate optimized tooling, equipment, and processes, reduced launch cost & time, and scrap & rework rates in the plants. Inclusion of process simulation in development workflow, program management system, and program budgets, ensure usage in programs, and determine the strategic simulation roadmap in collaboration with three key users, operations, FES, GIS, and 70+ simulation users.

Managed a team of 12 design engineers in three locations (FECT at Columbus, IN, GM in Warren, MI, and Ford in Dearborn, MI). Implemented new entry-level position for graduate by reorganizing the CAD team. Aligned job descriptions and training plans to prepare for further career development in different roles. Managed the interface to the back office in India to execute most of the design workload while enabling them to deliver more activities directly.

Recruited and lead a team of 14 product engineers to execute offshore program development activities for three application front offices (AFO) in Europe and the US. Drove mindset change from task execution to program management within Bangalore Technical Center (BTC) and the AFOs. Installed a technical cross-functional work environment within BTC, workflows, and global standards to ensure the product engineering team can deliver on time, with high quality and low cost.

Technical lead of development program for exhaust lines

Market and competitor analysis to define strategic product planning. Internal marketing support and controlling of innovation projects. Definition of target prices for acquisitions with all business units globally.

Development of exhaust systems Technical program leader for Mercedes A- and B-Class with full system responsibility. Faurecia technical representative at Daimler Chrysler and internal management of product experts, design, testing, prototype shop in 5 European sites and suppliers.
