The main tasks are HR related, purchasing and implement the ERP system into the production (get the warehouse management module into use). Other tasks: invoicing, handle complaints and sometimes also helping sales with inserting sales orders into ERP and organizing transports and checking for new logistical opportunities and prices.

The responsibility in the International Logistics dept was to handle orders and make sure the orders were delivered in time in the most cost-effective way. I got the possibility to know the whole picture of the supply chain, from the moment when an order was placed, the production process of the products, storage, and the delivery process. I also got the opportunity to follow up the processes of a freight company during the time.

The daily tasks were order handling, customer service, checking payments, handling payments with the bank, organizing transportation, and ordering the elevators from the factories for the specific orders. The tasks included general KPI check-ups together with the team. I also had possibility to attend different logistical trainings organized by KONE.

Order handling, customer service, transportation of the orders, follow-up and inform KPI´s and SAP use on a daily basis. I had also possibility to take part of production planning (planning the repacking of goods), different smaller projects regarding production and logistics (labelling project, set up the KPI’s), warehouse management of different plants (warehouse coordinator), and internal auditor.
