I work as a consultant/contractor/freelancer and help businesses around the world to prototype, design and implement their web-based solutions. My programming language of choice is Java (backend solutions using mainly Spring framework) but I have also worked with SAP Commerce Cloud, Javascript, Angular or React. At BP, one of the world's seven oil and gas "supermajors", I was working on proof-of value projects arising from innovation ideas contributed by staff and partners. I was part of "Project Demeter", a project using satellite images of forests and machine-learning to estimate the amount of carbon stored in trees in a given geographical area, working on the code fetching the images using the Sentinel Hub Batch API. The client, IntraFI Network, needed to modernize the banking application in order to make the pages more user friendly, secure, reliable and flexible so that institutions and depositors can quickly and accurately enter data with little or no support from Client Services. CX Depot The client needed to shorten the time needed for preparing an instance of SAP Commerce Cloud for a demo to a client. I help reduce by 50% the time needed for preparing a demo, by designing and developing a tool which will help presales customize any commerce instance from SAP Cloud, without help from customization team. Skills used: Java 11, Angular 8, Spring Boot, JUnit5, Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, Jenkins.

Golden Demo Master Sales Department of SAP wanted to hold presentations of a larger suite of SAP systems, to show complex scenarios to potential clients. Accomplished a 30% growth of the number of features, by integrating the SAP Commerce product with other SAP systems (Marketing, ERP, chatbots) and also maintaining existing ones after each platform migration. Skills used: Java 8, Spring Core, Spring MVC, MySql, Javascript, HTML, CSS, adhering to clean code methodologies.

ShowCase The client wanted to demonstrate enhanced capabilities and features of the SAP Commerce platform. Increased by 20% the number of features of the standard commerce, by developing and documenting new B2C and B2B features and also maintaining existing ones after each platform migration. Accomplished a growth of almost 50% of the number of demos that used our product, by redesigning the UI of the standard storefronts. Monitoring App The purpose of the project was to create an easy way to monitor anything, from logs, services, computer resources to any other physical device which has an adapter implemented. We accomplished a 100% prevention rate for issues related to CPU, disk memory or RAM usage, by designing and implementing an application which displays on a customizable and real-time front-end information about every station from the network. Skills used: Java 7, OSGi, NodeJs, React Redux, MongoDB, HTML, CSS.

Automation Framework The client wanted an application to help solidify the functionality and scalability of different web applications. I helped decrease the time needed for checking all scenarios with 80%, by implementing the back-end using Selenium with Java, so that the application can be used to perform repetitive tasks both in a real and headless browser, and also providing support for the main browsers on the market including some old versions. Skills used: Java 7, Selenium, Cucumber, MySql.
