Florian Gabler

I am responsible for accounting principles with regard to the IFRS group financials of adidas AG. This includes developing accounting guidance for new or changed business models and the implementation of new or amended accounting standards. I act as a center of excellence for all IFRS-related issues and questions arising throughout the group in the day to day business and support the internal accounting teams and the external auditor in the context of the group audit, primarily in connection with complex or one-off topics and accounting decisions. Furthermore, I am responsible for monitoring the global non-audit services provided by the external auditor in accordance with EU requirements and drive the smooth and efficient audit transition to the new group auditor. In my role, together with my team, I am also responsible for updating and further developing our Group Financial Manual and support the development of our risk control matrix in relation to controls over financial reporting.
