At TEMF I worked in two research projects. The first deals with the realisation of efficient numerical methods to solve strong coupled problems in (nano)electronics, as well as uncertainty quantification and ageing effects. The second deals with the electromagnetic caracterisation of superconducting cavities in particle accelerators.

As a medewerker in the Electromagnetics Group of TU Eindhoven, I worked in a electromagnetic domain-decomposition method for the the analysis and optimisation of slab photonic crystals. The result of this work were published in my doctoral thesis entitled "Green’s Function Diakoptics: A 2-D/3-D Hybrid Approach to Photonic Crystal Modelling" (isbn: 978-90-386-3474-6).
