Über mich

A resourceful, devoted, and driven prospective graduate in Master of Science in Power Engineering from TUM with proven and tested research and development skills in the fields of robotics, circuits design and renewable energy. I opted for my final year project to revolve around hybrid electric vehicles simulations and its power electronics analysis using Matlab Simscape and Hardware in The Loop (HIL) simulation technique; this research was supervised by Toyota Motor North America and UConn University I worked as a research assistant in the computer science department where I published a paper that was approved in the IEEE conference. I later collaborated with a research group under the supervision of Laboratoire d’Informatique de Grenoble in France. Proficient in Simulink, MATLAB, VHDL, Homer, JavaScript , Python, Web development Areas of interest include Power Electronics, Power systems, and Renewable Energy

Berufserfahrung von Anas Hosami

  • Bis heute 2 Jahre und 3 Monate, seit Apr. 2022

    System Engineer – Research Intern

    ABB Deutschland

-Creating a detailed model of a joint robot arm consisting of a drive train and sensors while covering their physical effect, noise level, and dynamical response delay. -Appending the model with the standard position-velocity controller and the torque controller in order to study their damping effect on the system flexibilities. -Performing a sensitivity analysis to identify the mechatronic component that influences the closed-loop bandwidth of the arm side torque controller.

    Software Developer – Working Student

    ABB Deutschland

    - Conducted the transition of R&D teams to an introduced software for Application Lifecycle Management – Polarion – by researching and developing its projects’ templates based on the project managers’ requirements. - Served as subject matter expert for more than 120 users at local and remote locations and gave two trainings to my colleagues explaining the software management solutions. - Customized documents’ and work Items’ reports and workflow through writing scripts in Java, JavaScript, and Velocity.

    Electrical Engineering – Intern

    Khatib & Alami

    - Prepared a preliminary study on power distribution planning tailored for an under-constructed residential area consisting of 25 Villas based on the electrical codes and design guidelines in KSA. - Assisted a Senior Power Engineer in preparing construction drawings using AutoCAD and issuing BOQ for the energy planning of a railway station refurbishment. - Developed lighting design plans for two office-buildings relying on the illumination levels using the Dialux Software.

    Professor Assistant

    American University of Beirut

    - Reviewed literature and provided a report on state-of-the-art research attempts to design a sensor that measures the spilled oil thickness on water, and ultimately put up a new sensor design with a very high resolution based on the reflection nature of the oil. - Offered problem-solving sessions on a weekly basis for forty mechanical engineering students in an Electronics Course. - Graded the students’ exams and quizzes.

  • 1 Jahr und 5 Monate, März 2017 - Juli 2018

    Research Assistant

    American University of Beirut

    - Joined an international team under the supervision of Le Laboratoire d’Informatique de Grenoble working on research projects in Data Mining and Crowdsourcing. - Project(I): Built a user interface (UI) for a fuzzy-clustering tool that generates user-specific travel plans in a city using Google Maps JavaScript API. - Project (II): Developed the pseudocode of statistical algorithms that demonstrate the algorithmic bias in human-powered data acquisition, and converted mathematical algorithms into Python.
