Becoming Water Engineer by profession from Hochschule-Stendal Magdeburg, Germany with the background of Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Pakistan. Currently, I am working as research assistant at Politecnico di Torino with Assistant Professor Riccardo Vesipa on the study of recent disaster that had happened near Torino (in Bardonecchia). Few days ago, a sudden and heavy rain caused the river to flood the city. The work of thesis will have a part of hydrology (focusing on the storm characteristics in terms of rain intensity) and a part of hydraulics (understanding the propagation of the flood in the city). Both parts will include data acquisition, data treatment and analysis and numerical modeling of flood propagation with QGIS, DIKE-2D, ETH BASEMENT and Ansy Fluent
