Analyzed the problems faced by the renewable energy sector & developed a multidisciplinary solution for storing excess wind energy & recovering energy during peak times to enhance energy supply stability & increase profitability. Designed a conceptual subsurface Porous Media CAES Power Plant system and constructed dynamic 3D models of Coastal Plain reservoirs to examine parameter effects on air storage & recovery & simulated the efficiency of this energy storage option for potential offshore wind farms

Managed competing priorities: on-time delivery of personal assignments & additional workload of instructor: leading fieldtrips, making presentations, designing exams, maintaining records. Trained 312 students to critically analyze datasets, guided & supervised individual case studies. Developed students’ teamwork and knowledge share by creating multidisciplinary groups of science, engineering & liberal arts students - 97.5 % of students earning a B grade or better, achieving the highest average GPA.

Coordinated appointments & meetings between Industrial & Energy Sector customers & company managers. Created a new database to manage all client, delivery & sale information enabling management to quickly analyze service trends & sales turnover & to track expenses within a single spreadsheet. Enabled management to adopt the new database by demonstrating its ease of use & its ability to increase work efficiency

Designed a dynamic reservoir model using PETREL for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company as a tool to determine the profit potential of an oilfield, & the capital investment associated with using Enhanced Oil Recovery methods. Classified & catalogued the Institute’s entire mineral & fossil collections enabling them to be used as in-house training tools. Performed petrographic analysis of core samples & assisted with team-led field trips of 40 participants
