As a consultant I provide strategic advice to biotech, pharma, new energy, IT and tech clients, as well as support their media presence through high-profile, targeted interviews and opinion pieces, by-lined articles, besides web 2.0 tools.

As a freelance media analyst my tasks comprise of analysing press coverage according to various criteria in English, German and Spanish, as well as writing short summaries and overall analysis reports, SWOT analysis with suggestions for future activities.

As a freelance PR consultant I provided strategic advise for clients in various fields, including the energy market as well as IT and telecommunications. I drafted several project-related and overall communications strategies, backgrounders, briefings and speeches, along with other planning tasks. I also provided strategic input for ad-hoc events, campaigns and new business development.

My main tasks included support and research for the quarterly magazine, development of an additional sales strategy for advertisements, directory, a press pack and other communication activities. I was also involved in creating briefings and backgrounders; as well as editing content for the website.

An extended, part-time communications internship at the environmental think tank with main duties of maintaining and updating the website, managing and creating content. I also set up and regularly updated the organisation’s Twitter feed as well as created a comprehensive press pack. Besides these I developed and regularly updated the in-depth monthly media evaluation and web statistics report with conclusions for future communications activities.

During the 2008 and the 2009 summer holiday seasons I acted as a communications advisor for the Club Aliga Holiday resort at Lake Balaton in Hungary. I drafted and implemented the communications strategy for the re-branding and re-launch of the holiday resort. Communications activities included organisation of a small-scale press trip with press conference, press announcements, interviews, photo shootings and story pitching to high-profile publications.

I ensured the professional work of the agency by supervising the work of account managers supporting clients like Vodafone, Microsoft, Intel, Avaya, Citibank, Mio, HTC, MOL, and other financial and FMCG companies. I provided strategic level consultancy for all clients at local and international levels, and developed communication strategies, besides new business development.

I managed regular press office activities, including client representation towards media, planning of PR-activities, organisation of interviews, press trips, events, development of press materials (releases, PR articles, features, backgrounders), coordination of product tests and an exclusive mobile phone testing programme for business partners. I was also involved in the development and implementation of strategies and new business development, mainly for IT and tech clients.

My duties comprised of general press office activities, including creating and maintaining press lists, implementation press events, organisation of press trips and development of various press materials. I compiled various press evaluation and media monitoring reports. I was also involved into new business development at a junior level, including audits as the basis for new proposals.
