Av. Türkan Demir is a 2013 graduate of Marmara University Law Faculty and a 2023 graduate of Health Law Master's program. She is working in the field of health law and is also a member of the İYİ Party Istanbul Provincial Management. She is the chairman of the İYİ Party Health Law Commission. She participated in the 20th Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot from 2013 and represented her school in 3 pre-moot competitions: the BBH Prague Pre-Moot in Prague; the CEAC Arbitration Center Pre-Moot; and the Pre-Moot competition sponsored by Warsaw University. She attended seminars and conferences, including a Witness Statement & Cross Examination seminar sponsored by Charles University Law School in Prague, Czech Republic and an Evidence in Arbitration conference sponsored by Warsaw University in Poland. She also participated in the EuroMUN United Nations Simulation Program in the Human Rights Commission in Maastricht, the Netherlands, in 2012.
