Responsible for the Supplier Development function on a global level (5 teams - 17 people). Define Supplier Development Strategy for Bobst Sheet Fed BU. Deploy the function globally, build local teams capabilities, assure supply base performances and readiness. Secure smooth new Product introduction. Manage Quality-Cost-Delivery performances, jointly set up KPI level for the suppliers. Drive best cost sourcing solutions, secure business targets and saving objectives for the supply base (Spend $500M+).

Reporting to the VP Corporate SCM EMEA, drive cross-functional cost efficient initiatives across the region & on global level (yearly savings $10M+). • Re-establishment and continuous development of Eaton Global Sourcing function supporting the BU's Direct Sourcing (Managed Spend $400M+ / 30HC). • Active member of Global SCM Functional Excellence council and New Product Development council.

• Solid line manager of 3 sourcing teams (Purchasing Managers - Product Development, Program Sourcing Quality Managers and Material Program Coordinators) in total 12 people. • Lead teams and coach individuals to secure high performances in the product programs. • Responsible to ensure proper resource for the different product programs according to the roadmap. • Implement global sourcing strategy and develop local organization and process.

• Responsible for the sourcing of all product program specific components (availability/cost/quality) • Supplier selection, global supply chain creation • Capacity building at suppliers (assembly lines, tools, jigs) • Negotiate part prices and respective cost erosion over product life time • Maintain tooling budget and payment terms • Confirm supply chain capacity to our factory to insure best product Ramp Up • Responsible for supply deliveries so that Nokia demand can always be fulfilled

• Monitor product quality and design robustness across all Product Programs. • Responsible for competence development of the Design Engineers in the mechanics stream (around 60 persons). • Dimensional management, ensure match between manufacturing process capability and design specification. • Proactive member of global expert networks (process capability and tolerance analysis). • Green Belt Trainings, project follow up and certification

• Investigate technology needs for future concepts and provide researched innovative solutions. Key drivers: Miniaturization, Quality & reliability, Volume capability, Innovations, Cost efficiency, Time to market. • Deliver precision mechanics design solutions for future projects. • Study assembly tolerances in automated assembly process (published article in IEEE Journal - ISATP 2001 “Assembly Process Level Tolerance Analysis for Electromechanical Products”).
