As the CEO’s right-hand man at BCV (Banque Cantonale Vaudoise), he has actively contributed to its successful strategic repositioning and turn-around by leading strategic projects. He designed and steered BCV’s CHF 50 mio strategic growth & transformation program “CroisSens”, the long-term strategy cornerstone for Private, Retail, and SME Banking segments.

In 1999, Yves co-created and managed e-SIDER.COM, one of the first online brokers and 2001’s ex-aequo best online broker in Switzerland; subsequently putting up a successful strategic alliance with Postfinance. Later, he designed BCV’s global e-business strategy and led its online banking & brokerage operations until the end of 2002.

Yves spent 5 years in South East Asia, establishing from scratch BCV’s first overseas presence in Singapore in 1994. He pioneered and co-developed activities in many different fields in the region until 1999.

Yves started his career in 1987 as a trader on fixed income and equities; managing proprietary books in bonds, financial derivatives and equity-linked products.
