Dr. Xiaowei Jin

I have been working as a postdoc at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) since April, 2017. I focus on the microchemistry (element concentration and distribution) and microstructure (grain size, grain orientation, defects, secondary phase, ferroeletric domains) of materials, e.g., thin-film solar cells with Cu(In,Ga)(Se,S)2 absorbers, multiferroic thin films of LuFeO3, YbFeO3, by scanning and transmission electron microscopy. I got my PhD at Xi'an Jiaotong University in March, 2017. During my PhD study, I focused on quantitative high-resolution transmission electron microscopy investigations of functional thin films, e.g., La2NiMnO6, 0.95(Na0.5Bi0.5)TiO3–0.05BaTiO3 and Ca1.46Nb1.11Ti1.38O7, as well as other materials. I got my Bachelor degree at Xi'an Jiaotong University in June, 2011, in Electronic Science and Technology. I'm looking for a job in electron microscopy or materials.
