With the company from the day 0. Designed and implemented the original proof of concept server and sizable parts of the production server. Designed and implemented the company IT infrastructure, deployment etc. Lead the R&D of the company from the idea to the live site with tens of thousands of users. Intimately involved with anything and everything R&D/IT related.

ScaleMP is building a virtual SMP architecture that aggregates multiple x86 systems into a single virtual x86 system. Worked on a virtual PCI device that enabled host OS to communicate with the virtualisation level. Built a system to monitor and detect memory leaks and overruns.

As a member of the Platforms team developed Linux Board Support Package (BSP) for several new hardware architectures that didn't yet run Linux at the time (like Intel's IXP425). Developed network drivers, solved CPU cache problems, developed assembler boot time code. The work involved working with a hardware debugger and soldering mini PCI boards with missing IRQ lines. Also participated in the Tools team work: Automation tools development, multi-arch toolchains, automated regression testing system.

Passcall is a leading Cloud Based Mobile Web Application Platform. At the time it was one of the only companies that cold get information from virtually any site on the internet to almost any kind of mobile in a form that was usable for consumption and interaction. Developed a fast IPC library to improve performance of internal communication between servers in the cluster. Developed an Automated Spider for Regression Testing.

EverAd was ahead of its time. It tried to work out a model for free and legal music sharing at the time that only Napster existed. As a member of the Desktop Team developed a Media Player DirectShow plugin for use in the company's new generation PlayJ music player. Developed a number of low level in-house libraries. Developed a multimedia visualisation component for PlayJ.

Designed and Implemented the company's core ads server that was previously implemented in VisualBasic. The new implementation was in C with pthreads and used OCI to access Company's Oracle database. The result was a drastically improved performance and reduced memory footprint.

As a member of Emerging Technologies Team participated in the development of the next version of the company's popular ZMail email client. Designed and implemented various components in C++. Participated in the development of the internal distributed sales application. We actually implemented our own Java application server at the time when solutions that are common today were still unheard of.
