Lead and managed a team of 8 working primarily alongside the Director of Learning and Teaching to provide strategic support for the delivery of undergraduate programmes in the Business School.

Led and project managed the strategic development of library services across South Yorkshire. Commissioned training for library staff across 3 Confederations and undertook library accreditation visits to areas outside areas.

Developed the regional programme to support identified training and development needs of all healthcare library and information staff across the Trent region – securing and managing the funding to achieve these aims. Formed part of a professional team designed to develop, monitor and accredit library and information services in the region.

Delivered the planning, creation, development and management of an Information Resource Centre for South Humber Health Authority. The Centre was established to meet the Health Authority’s information requirements and was then contracted to provide local primary health care professionals with evidence based information support services.

Led the operational management and co-ordination of a team of 7 staff providing comprehensive business information service for Scottish Enterprise and Local Enterprise Companies throughout Scotland.

Provided a library service to support the academic curriculum and research requirements of the largest university faculty, including the provision of a literature search service across the whole university.

Managed a team of 3 which sourced worldwide technical documents and published papers. Managed the archives and controlled access to a substantial library of in-house reports. Provided a basic patent search service.
