Über mich

I am an experienced Chief Officer, expert at providing safe operation and handling of Heavy Lift, Dive Support (DSV) and Subsea Construction Vessels (SCV) for oil, energy and subsea organisations such as Helix, Subsea7 and Seajacks with focus on leadership, efficient bridge management and delivering the highest international standards of QHSE. I understand and manage adoption of new marine regulations and emerging technologies whilst building knowledge of business impacts. I utilise marine software programmes to calculate ballast management plans for complex stress and stability conditions. I am highly experienced with advising senior management on optimum conditions of ship and machinery, ensuring smooth and cost-effective operations, both in conventional navigation, control operations and emergency situations. Furthermore, I manage budgets and coordinate cargo movements whilst effectively leading crews by creating and promoting a culture of openness, involvement and participation.
