Thomas Carr

Started out in concrete with Century Ready-mix, in north Louisiana around 1993 as Quality Control. Learned how to quickly resolve problems that come along with a product with a short life span. Got certified by the State of Louisiana in 1994. Moved to Baton Rouge in 1999 to be part of the Quality Control Department for Angelo Iafrate Construction Company. When the company decided to move out of the state in 2002 went to work for Louisiana Testing and Inspection as a certified concrete technician. In 2006 came on board with Heck Concrete as Quality Control where I have developed a more complete Quality department. And now after 14 years Heck Industries has been bought out by Cajun Ready mix. I now have more trucks and plants under my watch. When it comes to concrete I've done just about everything there is to do. I started out working for the supplier; then went to the contractor; from there to the independent testing lab.
