Theresa Nücken

Since 2017 I am a member of the General Students' Committee for public relations in my university. Here, I learn how to manage our social media channels and to address students about ongoing university-, urban- and global related discussions. Moreover, I perform different events and take part in press interviews.

During my full-time seven-month work experience at the SAP Innovation Center Potsdam, I learned to understand how the Onboarding, Recruiting and Employer Branding is executed within the SAP Human Resources team in Potsdam.

As part of a school project called "Cultural techniques of reading and writing", I taught refugees the German language, which aims to improve their integration process.

For eight years I was a group leader of the church, where I took care of children, organized and ran various events such as camps, excursions and sleepovers.

During my Semester break (03/2017) I worked as an intern in the Human Resources department at the BWI GmbH. I was in charge of the administrative support of all operational personal matters, for example creating job contracts and reference letters for employees and supporting a project aimed at modernizing the onboarding process of new employees.

As an AuPair in the United States of America, I worked and lived for an American family with two children. This year helped me with the acquisition of intercultural competence and to improve my English skills.
