VestasI`m managing and coordinating a portfolio of 7 Projects within Global Service. It`s my job to oversee the Projects, manage the budget, ensure these are being executed at full potential and to jump in to support when necessary. Throughout the Projects life-cycle I obtain feedback to ensure that the different Projects meet my stakeholders expectations for time, cost & performance. With our Sub-Project Leads I`m facilitating the Strategy Journey ensuring the team has the needed to deliver the results.
Within my 2 years in this position I was the Lead Project Manager for building the new Inventory Region Warehouse in Hodenhagen Germany with our Partner Kühne & Nagel. The warehouse was built on a greenfield - specified to Vestas' requirements. With a total of 35.788sqm, pallet rack with 19.358 bin locations, a picktower with 84.952 bin locations and an automated commissioner with 1.840 bin locations this warehouse is state of the art and increases Vestas' Supply Chain efficiency.
Within my 2 years in this position and the great support from my key Stakeholders, I have successfully implemented Service Centers with Stock Keepers in our North & Central European Region. By implementing this warehouse structure with dedicated employees we enable our Service Technicians to fully focus on work in turbine while warehouse related work is being processed by our Stock Keepers.
