Sheida Samyi

Sheida Samyi, Austrian-Iranian, born in Austria. Studies in marine biology. Artist, Poet and Graphic Designer. Graphic design education in New York and Los Angeles (Parsons school of Design and School of Visual Arts) and Freelancer since 1996. From 1996 to 2001 conceptualizer and art director of the project DUPLICATENCES, created with poeter c. siegl. 1994 - 2021 several exhibitions and installations in Vienna, London, Copenhagen, Mallorca, New York, Austria. Creation of the first book you can read from both sides, with the title: "kunst ist am ende - ende nie ist kunst". Lives and works in Villach/ Austria My biggest intention in my work is to encourage people to look more closely, to pay attention and to stay excited about finding new ways of seeing one color, one face, one word...one world.
