Create and develop generator stator coil manufacturing drawings and process specifications. Determine disposition of non-conforming generator product and material. Approve material substitutions. Communicate Engineering changes to Manufacturing. Qualify Manufacturing processes.

Design super-conducting dipole magnet components. Transfer design to product drawings. Determine tolerancing of parts. Leader of concurrent Engineering team to design and manufacture model magnets to test operating capability. Formulate development plans (including material and product testing) to schedule and plan magnet design

Design of generator stator coils and cores. Create stator coil manufacturing drawings. Perform failure analyses of stator coils and stator cores. Provide factory and field support

Support New Apparatus and generator uprating negotiations. Provide New Apparatus and Modernization Applications Engineering. Provide electromagnetic finite element analyses of generator stator components. Product Engineer (a 6-month assignment) for generator stator components at the Electrical Components Plant in Ft. Payne, Alabama, USA.
