Post doctoral Research fellow involved in building/modifying CGE models for Azores. Built 60-period overlapping generations models for Portugal. Research on PSI20 returns dealing with memory of the time series of returns and different statistical distributions to returns data.

Taught managerial economics, macroeconomics and environmental management to MBA students. Guided PhD Scholars on Credit Risk in Indian context. using Machine learning techniques. Created a consistent high frequency data base for stock and option prices that was used by Masters' degree students on their theses. Laid the ground work for starting a management programme in Civil Aviation with collaboration of the EU and the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India.

Set up the economics department. Developed an in-house web site to track policy and business developments in sectors like oil & gas, telecom, cement, power, ports, roads, fertilizer, steel, IT and financial sector. Created a data bank, monitoring national and international economic indicators. Carried out sector specific studies for top management. Was an assessor in various assessment centres. Conducted training sessions for Supervisory/Executive cadres on business & economics.

Taught introductory economics to 110 .Tech (electrical engineering and engineering physics) students at IIT-Bombay

Worked as a trainee engineer in the Design & Development Department; Fan Division. Responsible for design, development, testing and vendor development of axial flow fans. Developed the product till pre - commercial stage
