- Numerically Investigated the discharging of turbulent free jets from a straight circular pipe using OpenFOAM. - Developed a 3D CAD model based on experimental setup uing open-source software Salome. - Implemented LES and RANS turbulence model to simulate the transient behavior of turbulent hot free jets from an existing solver in OpenFOAM. - Analyzed the numerical results to advance the understanding of the Flameproof Enclosure. - Successfully validated the Numerical results against the experiments
