Managed multiple pipeline products encompassing a number of therapeutic categories and requirements for a minimally invasive medical device. Developed multiple product requirements documents and manufacturing guidelines that successfully balanced technical and performance requirements with time-to-market considerations.

Co-founded a medical device company and raised $20M in government and private equity investments. Managed engineering prototyping and feasibility studies of a new medical device to demonstrate successful controlled delivery of macromolecules through the skin. Built a multi-disciplinary team (Research, Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, Quality and Regulatory) to take a medical device from concept to market viability. Efforts resulted in a 400% increase in company valuation and acquisition.

Leveraged knowledge and experience in engineering, soft tissue characteristics and fluid-structural interfaces to design and implement a electro-mechanical neural implant that demonstrated therapeutically relevant drug delivery profiles. Designed and developed device and tissue-specific in vitro and in vivo test stations to measure and iterate on device designs and specifications. Demonstrated the first real-time delivery of neuropharmaceuticals into deep brain tissue with an implantable device.

Developed a low footprint electro-mechanical liquid and gas mass flow controller currently used in portable clean room environments for the semiconductor industry

Led the research and development of the World’s first real-time control hydrocarbon production technology that secured Schlumberger as a leader in this field Collaborated with Operations and Marketing to create a product development plan for a novel oilfield recovery control system, resulting in several corporate acquisitions. Contributed to the dissemination of new and pipeline product and service benefits to international clients.
