Raquel Brigagão

Graduating in Museology at UNIRIO and passionate about antique objects. I find it super interesting how much we can learn about them and through them, in addition to the affective relationship we create with objects. From this interest, a new passion arose in me, Preservation, from which I was able to gather the knowledge of my technical training in Meteorology (CEFET/RJ). I worked for almost 3 years in Meteorology applied to the Conservation of Collections, in which I was able to contribute to the conservation of the collection of the National Archives (AN), through climate monitoring of its guard areas and the main atmospheric phenomena that act in Rio de Janeiro. , aiming at decision making to prevent chemical degradation and the proliferation of biological agents. I developed projects at the AN with the interns of the Meteorology Technician, seeking improvements for the institution and introducing these young people to the academic environment.
