Mainly three fields of activity characterize my position as assistant. Theser are - SIP (Species Identification Protocol) editing at the QEMSCAN system for costumers - laboratory work in the Inorganic Geochemistry Laboratory of the Institute of Mineralogy and Economic Geology (IML). There I prepare samples for whole rock and trace element analysis. - teaching of bachelor- and master-students in ore forming processes, ore microscopy, and mineralogy
Departement: Deposits and proof of origin of mineral raw metarials Task: Detection and characerisation of different PGE bearing minerals in samples of platinum pipes of the Bushveld Complex with optical microscopy and electron microprobe analysis
