- Analyze maintenance cost of different plants and identify improvement opportunities to be implemented with plant team and suppliers; - Evaluate Total Cost of Ownership for different equipment to support decision making for new machines; - Ensure that all documents related to Machine Acceptance Procedure are up-to-date regarding structure.

- Lead and develop a team of 19 professionals comprised of maintenance supervisors, technicians and engineers; - Steer and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as engineering improvement projects and plant shutdowns; - Manage defined KPIs: (1) maintenance cost, (2) energy consumption, (3) scrap generation, (4) machine availability, (5) accidents rate, (6) projects and investments spending, (7) MTBF and MTTR; - Plan maintenance annual budget of own maintenance area

- Create and implement preventive maintenance documentation; - Create maintenance procedures and train engineers and technicians; - Oil and lubricants plant champion: present opportunities focused on cost optimization and machine availability; - Analyze spare parts consumption and lead changes to avoid lack of critical spare parts; - Support development of new maintenance strategy for vision “2022-Mega Plant” based on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).

- Responsible for all mechanical topics in the PLT curing area; - Carry out machine optimization projects using problem solving tools aiming to increase machine availability, reduce scrap generation, energy consumption and maintenance cost; - Deliver mechanical technical support for the teams of technicians working in shifts; - Strive for the most efficient transfer of information between machine supplier, Central Engineering (Germany) and plant;

- Project leader responsible for an international team comprised of 9 colleagues, coming from 7 different countries. Responsible for structuring and organizing budget and administration processes presented to top management in the organization; - Deliver short-term assignments (3 to 6 months) for Engineering, R&D of tires and Industrial Engineering.
