Other, recent, work has included a terms as website news editor for Mobile Choice, mobile phone magazine as well as a spell as a features writer for an in-car entertainment magazine, Computer Music and a period with the BBC's History magazine writing about everything from Napoleon to WW2.

Nationals such as Android Magazine, Hi-Fi World, Record Collector, Aura (Rolls Royce magazine), Making Money (technology & business) and websites such as the BBC's Cash In the Attic, Tone Audio [music and hi-fi], Audio Beat [music and hi-fi] and Vinyl Factory [hi-fi]. I also contribute to Imagine Publishing's wide range of 'bookazines', helping to produce their step-by-step guides for new and experienced users of Apple's iPhone, iPad, Macbook and iMac plus a range of Android devices and Windows-based PCs.

A range of lifestyle magazines and newspapers including The Independent (as a telecommunications expert), women's magazines (i.e. Closer, interviewing a range of celebrities for a back page column) Antiques (providing guidance and features) as well as Home Automation magazines looking at gadgets and control systems.

Other work at this time included a spell as Advertising Manager for serious computer games magazine, Strategy Plus, plus creating a PR company, RFS, with two colleagues, building PR campaigns for a range of software companies and programming teams.

Launch editor for Amiga Pro and its gaming equivalent, 32 plus a range of Mart titles such as Amiga Mart and PC Mart. The latter, after a successful 5 year run, was eventually bought by Trinity. I then moved into music with Record Mart and, later, Record Buyer, again as editor for both. During this time, I also worked for BBC radio, utilising my skills both in the music business and home automation to advise listeners and provide industry news.

I co-authored the PC Games Bible with journalist, Robin Matthews and wrote several manuals for a variety of venerable software houses including Ocean on large, licensed titles such as the first Batman movie franchise.

Writing reviews, features and columns for a host of computer gaming magazines, over 100 in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. These included ST Action, Zzap, Crash, Amiga Computing, Games Machine, ST Format, PC Action, C64 Computing, Strategy Plus, Official Playstation Magazine, C&VG and many more. Territories included the UK, USA, France, Germany, Denmark, Greece and more.

From the rather serious aviation titles such as Air Pictorial, Wingspan, Air International, Aviation News and Airforces Monthly to, some might say, more frivolous occupations in aircraft model making via Scale Models and Aircraft Modelworld
