He has lectured and participated in workshops and conferences focusing on sustainability in the built environment internationally.
Among his over thirty conference contributions
he was an invited speaker at the MIT “massimpact symposium”
at Columbia University’s “Cities and Eco Crises Conference”
Cornell University’s “Strauch Symposium on Sustainability” and was a panelist at the “VIA EXPO International Sustainability Conference” at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia / Bulgaria and the “RenewablesUK” held at the Glasgow National Conference Center / Scotland.
In his research based design work he investigates energy efficient solutions in diverse project scales and the knowledge - transfer of design principles between different disciplines.
His research has been supported with funding of over one million US Dollars from various international
national and state funding agencies.
His work has been internationally published and widely exhibited. Exhibition venues include the Museum Insel Hombroich / Germany
