Consulting activity aimed at linking R&D to market through business-academic partnership in the fields of biotechnology, genetic engineering, biometry, oil chemistry and computing. Stakeholders include research institutions, high-tech SME and spin-off companies and key market players. My tasks are diverse and include viability plan, product mix, client definition, business plan, financial forecast and managing stakeholders.

Depending on the Lab Director and in charge of a lab technician, I was responsible for the development and management of several biotechnology research projects. My tasks included: resource (financial & human) and means (purchase & inventory) management, cost analysis, operation design and standardization, milestone achievement, activity report and experimental forecast. Depending on the Department Director and in charge of a lab technician, my tasks covered the management of clients and orders, billing, inventory, technical staff and operations. In charge of scientific consultancy on plant culture issues. Main achievements: - Optimization of workspace resources in the facility. - Standardization of the tasks available at the facility, supported by the Director.

Under supervision of the Thesis Director, my main tasks involved the development of my Thesis project, as well as collaborations in other national and international projects. As a result of my scientific training, I achieved a high degree of knowledge in Molecular Genetics, Genetic Engineering and Cell Biology. Main achievements: - Seminar at the Plant Physiology Unit of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. - Publication of journal article: Catarecha et al. (2007) Plant Cell 19(3):1123-1133.
