Direct the development and assembly of prototypes by providing documentation and technical assistance to design engineering staff, material procurement team, and others as necessary to ensure high-quality prototypes are built in a timely manner. Develop, maintain and execute design verification, environmental and reliability test plans, traceability matrices, procedures, equipment, results, and other related documents to ensure products consistently meet high-quality standards and agency requirements.

As a product engineer I focus on new product developments, as well, on design to reduce cost and localization projects worldwide. I also undertake the design of new solution according to international standards and customers’ requirements, prototype building and testing, 3D model creation, complex structure management and product introduction to operations. I had successfully finish projects that report savings around 70k USD and sales impact of 550k USD.

During this time as a mechanical designer I successfully lead a localization project and I was responsible of the design of new components and assemblies adapted to local materials and manufacturing process for the local market, build prototypes and testing according to international standards, in addition to 3D modeling and drafting creation. During this time the savings of the localization projects were close to 800k USD during the first year of implementation.

My main responsibilities as a special topics engineer were the introduction of new products based on the set up of materials and structures in SAP; execute standardization projects, cleaning SAP data, bringing support to production and TeamCenter data management.
