I am responsible for preparing two pages per week [4-5 stories] on business, economy and energy issues for Georgian Journal weekly newspaper. Am covering financial market, communication and IT technologies, business, taxation and budgetary related issues, property right issues, transit and transportation, green energy, hydro recourses, gas and oil sectors of Georgia.

I started working as a proof-reader and translator and was shortly promoted to the position of an executive manager. As an executive manager was responsible for the magazine’s page-making and design management, had been building and keeping contacts with business as well as local branches of foreign organizations in Georgia (IMF, WB, American Chamber of Commerce etc). Was translating advertisements and specific data base (in terms of diverse fields as following: scientific, technical, agrarian etc) for edition of “Georgian Business”-Catalogue of Georgian Products & Service- from Georgian into English and vice versa.

I worked as a reporter for the monthly newspapers “Marjani” (The Hawk) and scientific- popular “Aviation and Cosmonautics” (currently the monthly scientific-popular newspaper “Discovery”) published by Tbilaviamsheni Company (Aircrafts Construction Factory). Was focused on covering inter-company related issues and problems. Was also translating information from Russian media for the questioned publications.

I started my carrier as a reporter after graduation Tbilisi State (Javakhishvili) University there. And was covering stories on politics and social life of Georgia. Also was translating information from Russian media for the newspaper.
