TOPIC: High Performance Computing (HPC) for Virtual Platform (VP) based Electronic System Level (ESL) simulation  The thesis aims at analysing different HPC techniques for parallelizing SystemC simulations over multiple host machines - Considering ESL simulations of the industrial automation applications as test cases  Frequent working with open source SystemC, Synopsys virtual prototyping environment (Virtualizer, TLM Creator, VP Explorer) and the network socket programming in C++

Embedded Software Department:  Worked with a CPE software named “Universal Gateway (UGW)” and OpenWrt  Creating and managing different software packages in UGW  Worked with “Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT)” module of UGW (implemented in C programming), GNU Autotools build system, shell scripting and different embedded software tools i.e. U-boot and embedded Linux  Applications and drivers programming of Linux in C  Setting up a SIP server (OPENSIPS)

 Operations Department: o Managing a team in operations department o Working with complaints managing system o Creating reports of faults and analysing the results  Multimedia & Broadband Department: o Configuring Customer Premises Equipments (CPEs) o Remotely accessing the status of CPEs and setting configurations like data rate of a user, IP addresses, DNS etc. o Analysing line parameters (e.g. attenuation loss, SNR value) and deciding health of the twisted pair lines to maintain QoS
