I completed Internship in electronic measurement applications. During my internship I work to enhancing developing & finalizing external software tools to control Signal analyzers, Signal generators, Oscilloscopes and Power meters for different applications. Adding two different IQ waveforms with different sampling rates and lengths for offline analysis was also a challenge.

I am associated with the project of measuring Partial Discharge in high voltage transmission lines. There I have made PCB boards for pulse generator, analog filters (bandpass, lowpass), and phase lock loop. On top of it I have designed a board for PIC32 controller and implement all the required programming. Using PIC32 and filters we would measure the Partial Discharge in transmission lines and send the measurements to the host computer over the serial interface.

I am associated with the project of laminar-turbulent transition. There we have to install complete system to control motors with NI cRIO-9014 and LabVIEW to make a functional traverse mechanism.

I have worked in various Labs and assisted students on various development boards (DSP, FPGA, PIC and 8051 Microcontroller boards). This provided me in depth knowledge of first hand embedded system issue and how to solve them to get the boards working.

I completed this internship by working in different departments of PTCL (Network Management System department, and optical fiber department). During the training I practically participated in the maintenance activities. In optical fiber department”, I learnt configurations, hierarchies, various communication protocols and different splicing techniques of optical fibers and cables which are practiced in the industry.
