M2M & IOT

Worked on development of RF System Tool Chain for the upcoming modem eXACT by python scripting using PyCharm & version control using GIT, optimizing the coding mechanism by PIP8 methods, measuring the RF parameters such as Uplink & downlink throughput, latency, PSNR, BER, etc for FDD, TDD, LTE, WCDMA & GSM signals by programming CMW500 according to 3GPP standards & driving the modem by these python scripts which drives the DUT.

European Speed5G Research Project: Developed a demonstrator for evaluation of QoS of Video Broadcasting over 5G networks using socket programming on video standards such as MPEG-TS/DASH & Apple HLS over UDP/TCP. Performed video transcoding using ffmpeg, broadcasting using R&S CMW500 & video analysis using R&S VTC, VTE & Distortion Analyzer. Worked on IPTV Industry related concepts like VOD, Live TV, Headend, Triple Play & Media Streaming, testing of set top boxes, digital TV & OTT applications.

Worked on LTE RRM, eNodeB MAC layer protocols PRACH, Resource Allocation & signaling, network simulation of LTE used for Traffic Engg & network optimization using NS3 simulator.

Worked at Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS in Broadband and Broadcast Department as a Research Assistant on selection & integration of Athonet IMS solution for the LTE-Advanced Testbed operated by Fraunhofer IIS with Nokia Core network elements, R&S CMW500 & eMBMS. Worked on Qt5 framework to develop an internal software solution using C++ for the evaluation of subjective listening tests using P.800 ACR & DCR methodology.

Validation Testing of PSTN, PLMN & IP networks of 3GPP Telecom protocols in TCP/IP stack. Performance/Product/Web & Functional Testing of Alcatel Lucent IN, BSS & OSS products.
